Sister Williams- 6/5/2023

Hey guys! I have zero time today so this will be pretty short which is cool because this was the craziest week of my life.

So here's just what happened:

1. Was ET to Manda 5 for a week with Sister Amelgo and Sister Mauai (they are literally the coolest) and lived in a definitely haunted mansion. We also went on an hour long hike to the office because we had no idea how to get there so we walked all the way from a chapel in Manda and found a really gross green lake.

2. Was told that I would be going on emergency exchanges with Sister Even in San Juan over transfers so once again lugged all of my stuff to a new area.

3. Commuted three hours to our mission home using five Jeepnis, a train, and multiple flights of stairs. It only costs me my sanity, a wheel of my suitcase, one Book of Mormon, and about 150 pesos.

4. Got reassigned to Quezon Palawan!

After spending 3 months in Manila I thought for sure I would be there for the rest of my mission. BUT, I've been sent back to the island I first started in! Quezon is insanly breathtaking (except for the churches on every block). I see the ocean every day, work under palm trees, and live out of a convinience store. My companion is Sister Leguara! She is like those missionaries in the district or Preach My Gospel. Thats how perfect she is. Needless to say, I'm learning a lot from her. This is also her last cycle but there is not a single part of her that is even slightly trunky.
