¡Hola a todos!
Hope you're all doing well! This week we were able to see some really cool miracles happening in our area, as well as outside of our area! After a long while of trying to find some people we finally have some potentials ready to teach.
But to start off the week we took a train to Madrid on Monday afternoon to complete my residency (which means that I'm legal in Spain, woohoo!) The train times and residency appointment times got mixed up so we ended up staying very late in Madrid. We were a little concerned because we didn't have much to do. However, the other elders had some problems in their area and luckily, because of the mixed up timing, we were able to help them with that! It was a nice small little miracle that just made us feel that God was really in the details. I love how God can sometimes turn these sky mistakes or hard moments into brief miracles.
We were able to teach two of their new friends about the Book of Mormon and the restoration of the gospel. The spirit was really strong because we were teaching them next to the temple! It was really powerful and I was so glad I was able to be a part of that! They were both super receptive and willing to learn more. Good luck to those elders! Also a big shoutout to their shower. I forever want to use a rainfall shower after staying at their piso.
We also had some really cool miracles happen this week with finding people. While we were teaching one of our friends about the plan of salvation, we invited her friend to join us and she seemed really interested! We're planning on meeting her next week. We also made a random stop at a member's house, where we didn't even know the address of his place, so we rang every bell in his building, and on almost the last door, he answered! We were so surprised, but we found out that his cousin from Paraguay is super interested in the gospel! We were so excited to hear that. We got to meet her at a birthday party they held later that week, and she seems super nice!
We also had a really powerful lesson with Alben as well about temples. If any of you haven't seen the tour of the Rome temple yet PLEASE watch it. It's so good! He seemed to love it and was really attentive. Please pray for him, we're really praying that he will get baptized this Saturday.
Love you all! Keep me posted on what's going on in your lives! I love to hear from you!
