Well, this will be the last email I ever write as a missionary. I go home in 2 days. This past Saturday we had two baptisms; our friend Michael, and Freddy, who we had taught a few months ago! It was funny because after the second lesson with Freddy, I told my companion we were never going back because I thought he was crazy. The other elders finished teaching him the lessons and here we are now! The little kid Michael gave such a sweet testimony after his baptism, he even made his mom get all teary-eyed.
I also went to the temple with President and all the missionaries that are finishing their missions. I have seen two years of missionaries give their testimonies and go home, I never thought I would get here! The temple was great! It never gets old going to the endowment session and the incredible joy that is felt after.
These past two years have been the hardest two years of my life, but also the best two years! I have finally come to understand why everybody always said that after their missions. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I know that we have a living prophet, and that this is the only true church on the face of the earth! I have also felt the peace that comes through repentance and hope that everybody else can feel it too. The mission has changed my life. I have learned so much in Colombia. I would just like to thank all of you for support and for helping me on this journey! See yall soon!
