Elder Blake - 2/23/2022

Ciao a tutti,

Like always I hope everything is going well. This last week has happened pretty fast! And transfer week is next week. I'll know if I'm staying in Caserta or leaving on Monday.

This was a workweek. We called a lot of people and taught a few people. So not too many cool experiences this week, but this upcoming week is 95% scheduled going from lesson to lesson. Even when I was serving in Ogden, Utah it wasn't this packed.

The other exciting part about this next week is that I will be doing exchanges [doing missionary work with another missionary than your assigned companion] with the zone leaders [missionary leaders over usually 12-16 missionaries] and we will be inviting an awesome kid to be baptized! We have 4 lunch appointments with people we are teaching so I will be gaining some weight this week. There is usually no less than 3 courses for lunch and then a dessert in an Italian meal.

A cool aspect about serving in the Italian countryside is the travel. I get to hop on a train and talk with people while passing an olive Grove or a Vineyard! Campania is a beautiful place to live, but at the same time, it is pretty run down. Bad streets and broken houses and castles line the mountains and cities.

Also if you have any questions about the church or are interested in learning more I can get permission to talk to you about it online! Open invitation to anyone let me know.

Also if there is anything big happening in your life let me know I want to celebrate with you haha.

Have a great week,

Anziano Blake
